Aadhaar Card is the unique identification card that is issued by the Indian Government for all Indian citizens. This card holds a unique 12-digit number, the Aadhaar Number, and it’s based on the individual’s specific biometric and demographic data.
Indian Government has now made it compulsory to link Aadhaar with a mobile number. The banks have been granted the authority to deactivate any bank accounts that aren't linked with Aadhaar. The latest regulations by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, states that by 31 March 2021, it is compulsory for everyone to link their bank accounts with their Aadhaar Cards.

Visit the nearest store of your telecom operator, along with a self-attested copy of your Aadhaar card.
Provide the mobile number of yours to the executive, who will then send an OTP to the mentioned number.
Reveal the OTP to the store person for verification.
Provide your fingerprint to the executive.
You will receive a confirmation message (SMS) from the Telecom Operator.
