An investor may redeem the amount invested in the following ways:
Offline: the investor needs to submit the Redemption Request either at the office of the Mutual Fund Company or at any of its offline service centres directly or through intermediaries.
Online: the investor needs to submit the Redemption Request online, but this is possible only if he is registered with his PAN card and password details.
Once the redemption is complete, the funds get reflected in your designated bank account within a period of three business days after the redemption request was submitted.
It is always advisable to consult your investment adviser before redeeming your mutual fund units because of the applicable tax norms and other rules, due to which you might have to pay more tax or exit load as per the provisions of the scheme related documents.
