Any individual who has opened a bank account under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana will automatically receive the RuPay Debit Card that comes with built-in accidental insurance cover of Rs.2 Lakh, provided certain conditions are fulfilled.
However, in order to avail the life insurance cover of Rs. 30000, the individual must have opened his account on or before 26th January 2015.
