Monitoring Guidelines under PMKVY

The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Scheme envisions to link the aspiration, aptitude, and knowledge of India's skilled workforce it creates with employment opportunities and demands in the Indian market. Thus, the PMKVY TCs have to put in every effort to provide the candidates placement opportunities by training and certifying them under the Scheme. TPs will have to provide support to entrepreneurship development, too.

Monitoring Guidelines under PMKVY:

The NSDC and the empanelled Inspection Agencies will use various methodologies to ensure high standards of quality are being maintained by TCs. These methodologies will use the latest technologies for conducting call validations, surprise visits, self-audit reporting, and monitoring by the Skills Development Management System (SDMS).

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). This Skill Certification Scheme's objective is to enable the Indian youth to obtain industry-relevant skill training, which will enable them to have a better livelihood. Under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), candidates with prior learning experience and/or skills will be assessed and certified as well.
