Types of stock splits?
There are two types of stock splits:
Forward stock split:
It is basically, dividing a high price share into multiple shares in order to reduce their price.
Reverse stock split:
In this, the shares of the company are reduced by merging them into a single share unit, with a motive to increase their price.
