Debit Card Pin is a 4-digit numeric code that is used for security purposes while making transactions with it. The use of a PIN (Personal Identification Number) is mandatory as per the RBI guidelines while making any purchase at any point of sale.

It's advised to have a longer PIN because they're safer than shorter ones. The PIN authorizes to access sensitive information, so it's necessary to keep it a secret. Protect it, never write it anywhere, including on your ATM or debit card.
