PMAY Online form -How to apply for PMAY online?

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), a scheme launched on 1 June 2015, intention is to provide affordable housing to the urban poor. It involves the agenda of constructing houses at an affordable price by the end of 2022. This scheme is a Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS), where beneficiaries are eligible to get interest subsidy when they're availing a loan to purchase or construct a house. 

Do note the PMAY can be applied to two categories: 

1. Under 3 components: This category is for the economically weaker sections, such as Low-Income Groups (LIG), Middle-Income Groups (MIG), and EWS. They are beneficiaries for the ‘Housing for All Scheme’. The EWS have an annual income cap of Rs 3 lakh, the LIGs have a cap of Rs 3 to 6 lakh, and the MIGs have a cap of Rs 6 to 18 lakh.
2. Slum Dwellers– This category includes those who are living in poorly built residences that are unhygienic and have unhealthy drinking water and sanitation facilities.

Following are the steps on how to apply for PMAY online: 

Step 1: Visit the PMAY website. www.pmaymis.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the “Citizen Assessment” option and then select the appropriate option from amongst “For Slum Dwellers” or “Benefits under other 3 components”.

Step 3: Enter the Aadhar card details.

Step 4: The application page shall open up, where the applicant is required to enter accurate details.

Step 5: After entering all the details, enter the Captcha Code.

Step 6: Click on the “save” button and the application will be successfully submitted. The applicant may take a print out of the application form.
