When is PF partial withdrawal permitted?

PF partial withdrawals are allowed under the following conditions:

Education	Upto 50% of employee’s share of contribution	7 years	Permitted for the education of self/ children after Class 10
Purchase of land, construction or purchase of house	For land, upto 24 times the monthly wages + DA	5 years	The land/house must be in the name of the employee/ spouse or held jointly.
Purchase of land, construction or purchase of house	For house, upto 36 times the monthly wages + DA	5 years
Renovation of house	Upto 12 times the monthly wages	5 years	The house must be in the name of the employee/ spouse or held jointly.
Medical Emergency	6 months’ basic pay and DA or the employee’s share with interest, whichever is lower.	NA	For self or family member’s treatment
