How to invest in mutual funds (KYC)?
Opening up a fixed deposit is so easy whereas there are so many complications in opening up a mutual fund account
Facing the same question? Well, Investing into MFs is much simpler than it is perceived. It just requires one time registration and then buying/selling a fund is just a click away.
To start investing into Mutual Funds, you need to first register yourself. You need a PAN card, an address proof (driving license/bank statement/utility bill), a passport size photograph and a cancelled cheque.
You will need to submit copies of all these documents by self-attesting them along with originals for verification to your Mutual Fund advisor. This process is called KYC (Know Your Client) and is mandatory before you can start investing into mutual funds.
KYC process is now much simplified and can be done electronically using your aadhar card. Just visit the fund website and look for E-KYC option.
Alternately, you can contact us and our team will get in touch with you.
